WELCOME TO ALEF (Allen Library Endowment Fund)
Treasuring Our Library!
Our mission: to provide a long-term, secure future for the Allen Public Library.
ALEF was launched in 2007 under a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charter of the Friends of the Library to promote and expand the programs and projects of the Allen Public Library, a cultural and educational treasure in the heart of downtown Allen. The Fund is committed to nurturing the Library of Tomorrow — providing a secure future for one of Allen’s most important institutions. At the same time, we are committed to nurturing the Library of Today- enriching the lives of children and adults of all ages. Our mission is to enhance existing projects and programs, as well as to make new ones possible. This includes initiatives related to future expansion, special programs and collections, staff training, equipment, and materials for the Library. All contributions are tax-deductible.
“The only thing you absolutely have to know is the location of the library.” – Albert Einstein
